Psynergy Affected Elements

This pile of rope can be stretched and attached to another peg. This will give you a rope to walk on as you cross crevices and cliffs. If you stumble across this pile of rope, use Lash and you will stretch the rope out for you to walk on.

Skinny pillars sticking out of the ground can be pounded straight back down. Use Pound on any of these pillars to smash them down.

Things that are just barely staying on top of other objects usually means they can be knocked down. Use Tremor to shake things up and knock down the upper item. In this case, the treasure chest would be knocked off from the bookshelf.

These little leaves lying all over the ground can be blown away using the Psynergy Cyclone. What good will that do? Well, the leaves are often hiding goods under them, like mints and other items. But watch out! Sometimes there are hideous flower monsters lying menacingly under the leaves, waiting to strike!

Well, the general rule of thumb is that if there is a crack on the object, it can usually be blown apart using Burst. Blast your way through doors and glass to reach new areas.

These tall rocks sticking out of the water will block your way to new paths and waterways. But thanks to the Psynergy Grind, you can sink them right down, clearing your way.

This weird purple juice can rise you up into the air and give you a few steps to hover in the air. Use the Psynergy Hover when standing on one of the pools of purple liquid to glide for a few steps.

Use Teleport while standing on one of these symbols to be warped to another location.

In Golden Sun: The Lost Age, the Force Psynergy has a small role, but a role nevertheless. Use Force on weak pillars to knock them down, or on tree stumps to scare away anything that could be lying inside...

These weird little dancing plants can be grown into tall vines. You can climb these vines and reach things you couldn't before. These are all over the place, and often lead to hidden goods. There are many ways to get Growth, but one way is give all your characters the Djinn corespondant to their type. Ex: Give Mia all water, Garet all fire... then trade one Venus Djinni with Garet. Isaac and Garet should both have Growth.

These are just some of the items that can be moved. There are many others, so try moving other suspicious looking items. Before using Move, make sure you absolutely cannot get to it to move it physically. If you use move too often at the begining of the game it will drain out your psynergy, so just push it normally when you can. Move is used throughout the game, and towards the end you'll know just by sight if the item can be moved or not.

When I first played Golden Sun I thought these were only for decoration. But when I got the psynergy"Frost", I learned otherwise. These can freeze up into tall ice collumns, which you can then use to hop from place to place on higher ground.

These big boulders often block your way, but do not despair, for you can lift them out of your way. You must be right in front of them for them to lift, if not the lift hands will simply clap together.

The psynergy "Carry" lifts these things AND moves them in the air! How cool is that? You can carry them down to lower ground, or carry them up to higher ground. Or you can simply drop them into a pit to take them completely out of your way.

You see this odd little shrub? It can often be cleared out of your way to often reveal a passage. How? With either Whirlwind or Gale. If you have both, I suggest using Gale since it uses up less psynergy points.

See that little orange thing dandling in the tree? It's a nut, and if you use "Catch" on it you will grab it. These are all over the game, so just come up to them and grab 'em.
